There's no such thing as a conventional boiler. Instead, there is a boiler furnace. A boiler furnace, as the name suggests, has a single boiler that produces hot water, and which then provides the hot water required by the household, business or other place of business. The main purpose for having a boiler furnace is for heating your home. With a conventional boiler, hot water is used to run the boiler through a supply line, and then through the home, through a pipe called a central heating system. The water that runs through these systems is then heated by a boiler. The only difference between a boiler furnace is the fact that a conventional boiler doesn't provide a continuous supply of hot water. Rather, it is heated intermittently.
