The Blue and Gold Macaw bird for sale is probably one of my favorite large parrots to own. It's a fun-loving and sweet temperamental bird, with one of my favorite personalities of all of the big Macaws, and is definitely one I wouldn't mind having around. Most large Macaws are quite sociable birds, which means they get along well with most people. But the Blue and Gold are one out of a very few Macaws that can be aggressive. It's rare but not unheard of, for these birds to be aggressive towards other birds and most likely will do this when there is a lot of activity around them, such as young children, other large parrots, etc. This usually stops after two weeks or so, but not always.

Blue and Gold also have a habit of getting into fights with other large parrots like Cockatoos, Cockatiels and Macaws in the wild, and this can lead to a fight. They don't seem to like other parrots too much, but it does happen sometimes. This is mostly because they want to be with their "sugar", or whatever it is they call the bird. Usually, when they fight with the other bird they end up leaving a mark, and in some cases they may even kill each other. But that doesn't mean you should never try to get close to one.

Another thing to watch out for is the little guys being territorial and trying to get one over on you, which is not something I would wish on my worst enemy. They are very energetic birds, which means they will make sure they have plenty of room to fly around. A nice spot where one can be alone with one of these birds without any other creatures around, while the other birds go off and play, would be ideal.

One thing I would advise anyone who wants to buy a Blue and Gold to do is get one from a bird breeder. These birds tend to get along very well with other species, although they tend to be more dominant than the other breeds, especially when it comes to playing with a human.

If you do find one that is available for purchase, make sure to take note of all the important information on the birds you are considering and make sure it has everything you need to take care of it properly. Since it's rare to find one for sale that has everything they need, especially the basic things like food, vet information, or a good environment to live in, make sure you know what you're taking on.
